«We are Juan & César, brothers and work colleagues in Palma del Río, a small town in the heart of Andalusia between Córdoba and Seville.
We have been connected with the orange trees since we were children. We make a great team, César is the one who spends more time in the countryside because he has worked all his life in the countryside. Juan studied biology and has a master’s degree in Organic Agriculture, he knows very well about all the plants and animals and has brought a more modern concept of agriculture. When you buy our organic citrus fruits, you will always get juicy, ripe and tasty fruits and at the same time you help us to keep our traditions alive. All our plantations are organic because we honestly believe in organic agriculture.
We met Cipriano in May 2020 and immediately decided to work with him and bring our delicious citrus fruits to more countries in Europe. We want to develop our project even more and we think that organic agriculture is a good opportunity for our and your future. For us it is also important that both we and the customers get a fair price, so we want to sell our fruits as direct as possible and we are very optimistic about the Olefruits project. We look forward to sending you our vitamins!
Want to visit our finca? Contact Oletrips and they will arrange a cool trip to Andalusia for you. You will get to taste our delicious fruits and many other local products directly in our plantation!
About our plantation
«Our grandfather “Ocaña”, with the help of our grandmother Justa, built up part of our citrus plantation back in the 40s when they moved to Palma del Río.
These orange trees are over 70 years old and belong to the “Cadenera” variety, a local variety that is in danger of extinction. We are also the only ones who have grown this variety as organic, and we look forward to every fruit we get, as it always brings us fond memories of our childhood. We also have orange trees of the “Salustiana” and “Navelina” varieties, many of which were also planted by our grandfather.
We also have orange trees of the “Salustiana” and “Navelina” varieties, many of which were also planted by our grandfather, along with younger orange trees that we planted 20 years ago. In our plantation you can also find lemon trees, red grapefruit trees, lime trees, tangerine trees and blood orange trees, but most of all we have orange trees. All our plantations are organic because we honestly believe in organic agriculture.»
